The 2006 'Can't Stop The Serenity' screenings for Equality Now were an unqualified success. Organisers held events in 47 cities around the world, raising over $65,000 for the women's rights advocacy group. Almost immediately, the organisers wanted to make plans to do it again the following year.

Organisers in fifty cities have committed to holding CSTS screenings in 2007.

Last year in Sydney we raised over $2000, with auctions, prizes, costume competitions, etc, this year - we're doing it again!

Come in your Serenity/Firefly/Whedonverse outfit and win a prize!

Door prizes!

Auctions of signed posters! T-shirts! other cool stuff!!

Please buy a ticket, come see Serenity, and support this great cause.

Tickets available through Dramatix

The charity screening sounds great. I missed out on seeing Serenity on the big screen last time, but have since got a copy on DVD. Just so you know, the screening is on Saturday 23rd June. Tickets are $12.00 each

Keep smiling

Yep, $12 pre-purchased or $15 at the door. We'll be starting the screening at 11am sharp so getting there a little early would be a good thing.

I'm pretty sure I've scored a set of Serenity blueprints from Quantum Mechanix as one of our prizes. There'll be movie posters signed by Joss, Jewel and Summer (not all together though unfortunately) and lots of other shiny stuff, don't miss out! :)

If you're interested in coming along this weekend you might like to have a look at some of the wonderful goodies we have received from Morena Baccarin and Greg Edmonson, Ron Glass, CrumpArt and many others.
