On Saturday 17th September 2005, editors Bill Congreve and Michelle Marquart and some of the contributing authors; Cat Sparks, Margo Lanagan, Deborah Biancotti and Ben Peek launched The Year's Best Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy Vol One, a new annual collection. Light refeshments were provided by Infinitas, grog by the publisher, Mirrordanse Books, crowd by the community.
